Garuda Collection was inspired by a national symbol of Indonesia, a mythical bird with eagle-like features that appears in both Hinduism and Buddhism mythology. Made of 18 carats of gold with 8 feathers on the wing, 17 black stones on the head and another 45 on the wing, this ancient deity represents the date Indonesia proclaimed its independence: 17 August '45.

The temples are made from hypoallergenic cellulose acetate and house a metal core which makes them easily adjustable. The use of old records has given the collection a distinctive look. The frame is big, thick and rugged and the grooves are an integral part of the design.
