There's an old say in Chinese "Men's ten fingers are linked to the heart", which shows the intimate connection between the fingers and heart. Through this work the designer wish people no matter where they are from, what language they speak can all enjoy the beauty of Chinese Characters.
As the design name "Alphabet Block Chatter" (aka A.B.C) suggests, A.B.C transforms letters of the alphabet into something more vibrant and colorful. A.B.C is comprised of 26 distinct alphabet characters and the tone of its design fits well with the current digital modern age. Out of 26 charms, customers can enjoy wearing multiple ones to "play with" words, as well as simply wearing single charms to appreciate their flavor. The quality of the work (available both in 10k and 18k) makes them suitable for both casual and formal occasions.
The fundamental building element of silver jewellery is the equilateral triangle and spatially, the tetrahedron. It can be found in the structure of many crystals and molecule models and combined into infinite spatial shapes. The tetrahedral structure with flexible joints forms various shapes of mobile adjustable jewellery. Despite the geometrical structure it gently follows the motion of a body. The illusion of infinite structures symbolically alludes to permanence. The gleam of the pyramidal peaks is highlighted by the embedded ground glass stones.
This collar necklace strives to seek a balance between luxurious and casual, the angular-cut stones juxtaposed with a grouping of pear and marquise-shape stones is playful and eye-catching. The heirloom pieces that inspired this collar were analyzed and deconstructed, their forms were then abstracted and reinterpreted to create a design of stability and comfort. The gemstones were carefully placed to lend an appearance of symmetry, even though the design’s differentiating feature is an asymmetrical look.
His design practice is informed by modernism and minimalism and driven by material exploration. He utilizes both traditional and contemporary designing and making skills to bring form to his artistic vision. Instead of making works from found objects, every element of his jewelry has been designed and engineered from blank blueprints. All of his jewelry is comprised of multiple geometric elements and married into abstract modules that repeat in order to create an elaborate form. The design process then pushes the limitations and error range of the technology he is using to achieve a dynamic.
